YOUNG JUSTICE SEASON: 1 PART, 2 PAGE

YOUNG JUSTICE: SEASON 1, PART 2(2010):

The last 14 episodes of Young Justice season 1!! These are really
REALLY good!!! Although there are a few flaws, they can mostly
be forgiven, if not ignored all together!!

The thing I like the most about it is, unlike the rest of the DC
universe, this is much lighter and has quite a bit of humor to
it!!

This teams up Kid Flash, Robin, Auqualad, Superboy and
M'gann M'rezz(niece of The Martian Manhunter)!!! This
Superboy is a clone of Superman, rather than him as a
boy, or even his son!! And the way he's portrayed is more
like Clark Kent from the series Smallville!!! And Speedy, who
changes his name to Red Arrow, shows up from time to time
to either help out, or so that the team can help him out!!

DISC 1:

EPISODE 1: ALPHA MALE(Oct. 7, 2011):

While illegally hunting a tiger in India, the hunters become the
hunted when a huge gorilla interrupts them!! Meanwhile, back
at the home front, Superboy "overhears" Aqualad talking to
Batman about the possible mole in the group and blows
a cork!! So, with Red Tornado gone and no idea where he's at,
Batman appoints a new "den mother" to the group, Captain
Marvel!! They're sent out to research the weird animal stuff
going on in India!! Needless to say, Aqualad is having trouble
trying to be the leader of the group!! A

EPISODE 2: REVELATION(Oct. 14, 2011):

A group of super villains have banded together and are calling
themselves 'The Injustice League!!!! This group consist of Joker,
Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Ultra Humanite, Atomic Skull, Black
Adam & Wotan!! They are using plants to attack the world and
demanding alot of money!! This has a good share of the JLA in it,
Aquaman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Batman,
Shazam, Flash, Elongated Man, Dr. Fate & Zatara, as well as a few
that I don't recognize!!

This had another Star Trek alumni in it, Brent Spiner(TNG) as
The Joker!! Terrible job!!! A

EPISODE 3: HUMANITY(Oct. 21, 2011):

The group is out to find Red Tornado, and they have a new
member in Zatanna!! As for Red Tornado, he's been captured
by his creator who has a plan to create another android who
will destroy the JLA, JSA, the Young Justice team, basically everyone
who's a good guy!!! A

EPISODE 4: FAILSAFE(Nov. 4, 2011):

There's an invasion on Earth and the JLA get destroyed by the
invaders!! Along with almost the whole planetary human and
not so human inhabitants!! This leaves everything up to the
Young Justice team!! And the team starts losing members
rather quickly!!

The ships have a real "War Of The Worlds" feel to them!!
Of course we all know that the whole Justice League isn't
going to get destroyed, so it's a matter of what is really going
on here!! And while obvious that there IS something else involved
in the story, it still comes out a great episode!! A

EPISODE 5: DISORDERED(Nov. 11, 2011):

This is half good!! The other half is stupid!! Black Canary is
giving the young ones a therapy session to find out how they
all feel after their ordeal from the previous episode!! That's
just plain stupid!! The other part, still is kinda stupid, but at
least has what you expect from this series!! Superboy is not
happy with all the grilling from Black Canary and decides to
get away from all the crap, only to come across a group of
heroes from another dimension who are here looking for
some weapons that have been stolen from them and they've
tracked them to here!! And there are several super villains
here that are responsible and just itching for a fight!! A

EPISODE 6: SECRETS(Nov. 18, 2011):

At a NY city museum, a dude calling himself Harm steals
the sword of Beowulf to use it against the JLA to destroy
them!! Meanwhile, there's a holloween party that Megan has
invited the group to, and while they're getting ready,
Artemis and Zatanna walk in, where in Zatanna says "So
how long have they(Megan and Superboy) been an item?"
This opens Artemis' eyes to something she's been ignoring,
so to hide the fact that she's upset, she decides that
she and Zatanna should go to NY for a "girl's night on
the town"! Once there, they run upon several small crimes
that eventually brings them face to face with said dude
that stole the sword!! A

EPISODE 7: MISPLACED(Mar. 3, 2012):

Five powerful sorcerers make all the grown-ups disappear! The
reason: unknown!! A

DISC 2:

EPISODE 8: COLDHEARTED(Mar. 10, 2012):

Today is Kid Flash's birthday, and everything starts out great!
Well, until he shows up for his "surprise" birthday party!! There's
a blizzard brewing across the country that appears to be man made
and the League and the youngens are out to find out who's behind
it, and stop them!! But not the kid! He's been assigned to take a heart
to a transplant patient from Detroit to Seattle!! He gets there but is
told that he's too late!! This has him devastated!!! But there is more
to this whole thing than meets the eye!! A

EPISODE 9: IMAGE(Mar. 17, 2012):

While fooling around with Superboy, Miss Martian's body shifts
herself to look like Diana Prince!! This is a common occurance
on Mars, but Dianna explains that this can hurt people's feelings!
WAAAAAAHHHHH!!! Anyway, the team gets an assignment to
go after Queen Bee who is behind a coup on a poor country,
when they get interrupted when a woman and young boy are
in danger by the local hoods!! This is all a set up to get to Megan!! B

EPISODE 10: AGENDAS(Mar. 24, 2012):

Lex Luthor is in town and he wants help from Superboy to
round up another genomorph who's run amok!! And of course
Lex always has more to his agenda than he's willing to let on!!
Meanwhile, the JLA are debating adding another member! A

EPISODE 11: INSECURITY(Mar. 31, 2012):

The team are out after a dude calling himself "Sportsmaster"!!
Also going on here, Red Arrow shows up to help out the team
and Artemis is having troubles dealing with him back in the
picture!! This is a really terrible episode, with a lot of jumping
around and there's just too much going on for one episode!!
This does, however, show what it is that Artemis is trying to
hide! B-

EPISODE 12: PERFORMANCE(Apr. 7, 2012):

Five members join the circus to uncover a stolen weapons
technology ring!! I think I see why this series tanked!! As it goes
on, it gets darker and darker!! Not a good turn for this!! A-

EPISODE 13: USUAL SUSPECTS(Apr. 14, 2012):

The Justice League announce their newest members, which includes
Red Arrow!! But the Young Justice team are off on a manhunt for
Cheshire!! Turns out that they all get a little more than they bargained
for, as she is accompanied by several other bad dudes, which includes
The Riddler and Bane!! While later that same day, it turns out that there
are more moles than the team has members!!! A

EPISODE 14: AULD ACQUAINTANCE(Apr. 21, 2012):

With the Justice League now under the control of Vandal Savage, this
leaves the Young Justice dudes and dudettes to save the world, and the
JLA!! Fortunately, Red Tornado was not affected, and the team's able to
find out the truth!! This really leaves the series hanging!! A

From an IMDb.com customer

I watch animated superhero shows on Saturday morning
to satisfy the inner child in me and my favorites so far were
Batman TAS and Justice League. But this show blew me
away, probably because my expectations were so low
about a show revolving around the sidekicks. But it quickly
establishes that the stakes are high and it finds a good
way to integrate the story and the characters into the DC
universe. The stories are complex, the characters fleshed
out and it finds an almost perfect balance between action,
story and characters. It's not about wanna-be heroes but
heroes in the making. Taking season 1 alone I would give
it 10 out of 10 and maybe even call it the best animated
show in the DC universe, but unfortunately TV business
intervened. The show didn't hit the intended demographics
(too many girls were watching - which just demonstrates
how ridiculously archaic the TV and advertisement business
really is) - anyway this led to the tinkering of the 2nd season's
setting and the premature cancellation. The quality of season
2 is still high, but you can never shake the feeling that they
abandoned a great show and made too many compromises
to cater to a specific audience. - tmf084
